Conferences with a view - Gemünd Vogelsang Youth Hostel

„For a rural youth hostel, the facilities for conference guests are exceptional,“ explains Jascha Rasky, manager of the youth hostel in Gemünd Vogelsang, which opened in spring 2020. And that's true: In addition to modern rooms with en-suite bathrooms, guests can expect five multifunctional conference rooms that offer a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere. A real highlight for conference guests, however, is the premium conference room on the upper floor, which a group of guests can have all to themselves. It offers space for up to 245 people for large conferences and congresses as well as a foyer with a tea kitchen and a roof terrace with an unobstructed view of the Eifel National Park.

And what can you do during the short or long seminar breaks? „The bistro, for example, is a popular meeting place for a coffee together. If you fancy some exercise, you could organise a tournament on the playground and sports field,“ says Jascha Rasky. But short walks or longer hikes along the Eifelsteig are also conceivable. In cooperation with the Vogelsang International Place, a former Nazi order castle around seven kilometres away, the youth hostel will offer supporting programmes for political education, which can be booked separately.

And in the evenings? Everyone can round off the day cooking in the outdoor kitchen, at a gala evening or disco golfing in the nearby spa gardens, or sit together in the bistro, in the fireside lounge or on the terrace.
