Scary makes you happy!
Have you ever heard of lust anxiety? This is the term used to describe the wonderful feeling that arises when we are creeped out but secretly know that we are safe. But how exactly does this feeling arise? We'll explain it to you: When we find ourselves in a „dangerous“ situation, the body releases adrenaline and noradrenaline. But if we actually know that nothing can happen to us, a wave of relaxation and relief runs through our body. Happiness hormones are released. This is why adults like to watch horror films, teenagers like to go on ghost trains and young children let their parents „chase“ them around the house.
Creepy alarm in the Panarbora ghost park
The „Panarbora“ ghost park opens its doors from 30 September to 5 November. Every day from 11.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., a beautifully designed and illuminated park awaits you with lots to experience. In addition to the „creepy-creepy guided tour“ (EUR 5.00 per person, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5.00 pm, group tours possible at any time) along the treetop walk, you can go on a ghost hunt in the park (EUR 1.50 per person): Whoever finds the eight special ghosts that have mingled with the others will receive a certificate at the end. Who of you dares?
We have put together a great overnight offer so that families travelling further afield can also enjoy this colourful spectacle in a relaxed atmosphere. Young and old can enjoy the autumnal nature, let their gaze wander over the Bergisches Land region in daylight and later go on a spooky discovery tour through the ghost park.
Further information on the You can find the ghost park at www.panarbora.de. The overnight special „PANARBORA Ghost Park“ can be booked on the Panarbora Youth Hostel website. We wish you lots of fun!
