„Germany's most beautiful hiking trail“: Vote for Bergischer Weg now!
The Bergisch Trail runs for around 260 kilometres from the Ruhr region through the Bergisches Land and Siebengebirge nature parks to Königswinter on the Rhine. On a total of 14 stages the trail not only boasts beautiful landscapes and fantastic views, but also very good signposting in both directions. This year, the hiking trail, which has been recognised by the German Hiking Association as a „Quality Trail Hikeable Germany“, was among the nominees for „Germany's most beautiful hiking trail“ - as the only multi-day tour in North Rhine-Westphalia. We think that's absolutely right! Do you too? Then vote for the Bergischer Weg now! All participants can win high-quality prizes provided by outdoor retailer Globetrotter.
Vote now!The Bergisch Trail not only offers idyllic landscapes and unique views, it also has a lot to offer in terms of cultural history. Hikers pass historic villages, castles, fortresses and monuments along the way. And time and again, sights invite you to take a longer break, e.g. at Lake Baldeney, the Neanderthal Museum, the Müngsten Bridge Park, Altenberg Cathedral or the legendary Drachenfels.
By the way: You can stay overnight in our youth hostels in Food, Bonn and Bad Honnef.
