Hendrik Wüst visits „Panarbora“

On Thursday, 8 August 2024, Hendrik Wüst, Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, made a number of appointments in the Bergisches Land region. In the afternoon, he visited the nature adventure park of the Waldbröl „Panarbora“ Youth Hostel“ and was able to enjoy the beauty of the Bergisches Land from above on a tour of the treetop walk.

During his visit to the Bergisches Land, Minister President Hendrik Wüst focussed on interacting with the people of the region. „The history of our country is particularly reflected here: industrial cities, but also the diverse nature and beautiful landscapes characterise the region,“ said Wüst. After stops at the district control centre and the Mettmann district fire brigade school, the „Out of the Box“ escape centre in Wuppertal and the Metten Stein+Design company in Overath, a stop at the „Panarbora“ nature adventure park was finally on the agenda. The park at Waldbröl Youth Hostel is a popular excursion destination in the Bergisch region and also offers various accommodation options. The centrepiece of the park is the 40-metre-high observation tower, from which you can enjoy a unique panoramic view over the Bergisches Land region. From the observation tower, visitors can also access North Rhine-Westphalia's longest and barrier-free treetop walk. With the help of six interactive learning and adventure stations, they can learn lots of interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the Bergisch Forest.
