New: Modular class trips - flexible, affordable and tailored to the interests of the class

With the new „modular class trips“, the youth hostels in the Rhineland offer an innovative concept for school classes.

Instead of booking a fixed all-inclusive package, you can now put together your own holiday. You can start with accommodation and catering at a particularly affordable basic price. This makes a school trip possible even on a tight budget. In the next step, individual modules can be booked flexibly. This gives you full cost control and allows each class to customise their trip.

The results are Customised school trips, which are not only attractively priced but, as always, also educationally valuable.

Currently the Modular class trips offered in two youth hostels in the Rhineland: in Neuss-Uedesheim and in Cleves.

The modular class trip at Neuss-Uedesheim Youth Hostel

Neuss-Uedesheim Youth Hostel is located directly on the Neuss Rhine wetlands. The individual modules of the modular class trip offer a wide range of (combination) options. The basis is a 3-day class trip, which is suitable for grades 2 to 6. It can be booked in the low season (from mid-November to mid-March) from only € 82 per person including full board!

You can book 11 different additional packages, from a free disco evening to the all-day „Creative Design“ programme. Here you can either opt for an upcycling project or put your craftsmanship to the test in the wood workshop.

Mix & Match class trip to Kleve Youth Hostel

Kleve Youth Hostel has also introduced the building block principle. It is located on the edge of the Reichswald nature reserve. The natural location and proximity to the Netherlands are emphasised in the offers. The modular class trip can be booked all year round.

As a basis, Kleve offers both a 3-day (from 82 € per person), as well as a 5-day school trip (from €122 per person). Both school trips include full board and are suitable for 1st to 9th class.

The 10 building block options are geared towards the following educational goals:
