Easter holidays ahead!

The Easter holidays are not long away. High time to start planning your holiday! At the youth hostels in the Rhineland, there are still places available on some programmes and holiday camps for kids, teens and families.

Carving workshop, archery and role-playing games

Mum as a noble damsel and dad as a tricky juggler? Why not! On the family trip „Knights, intrigues & romances“ at Blankenheim Castle Youth Hostel families embark on a journey back in time to the Middle Ages. A week of activities, sports and music while the anticipation of the great knights' festival grows.

Wilderness, workshop or workshops

Around Easter, when the temperatures rise, the youth hostels in the Rhineland head out into nature. The „Wilderness scouts“ at Gemünd-Vogelsang Youth Hostel (for kids, 9-13 years) start a journey of discovery in the Eifel National Park while in the „Survival Academy“ at Simmerath-Rurberg Youth Hostel (for kids & teens, 8-15 years) a great selection of workshops awaits the participants. Bivouac building, zip wire or geocaching - you decide! Those who like to construct and experiment are in good hands at Neuss Youth Hostel. At the leisure centre „Trial creates knowledge“ at Neuss Youth Hostel (for teens aged 10-14) is all about observing and trying things out, testing and experimenting, designing and developing for a week. Not the right one yet? There are still places available on these programmes.

• Fit4Parkour (for teens aged 12-16): On the grounds of the Duisburg Landscape Park, you will learn how to overcome all obstacles in the most direct, fastest and safest way possible
• Mission Possible (for teens, 10-14 years): Things get really exciting in the future workshop. The youth hostel's covered high ropes course becomes the holiday team's workshop: fun experiments, great experiences and real adventures await the participants.
• Solo for RebelGIRLS (for girls, 11-16 years): Archery, mixing your own cosmetics, orientation with map & compass and shopping - without parents and without boys, there is everything here that girls enjoy.
