We therefore endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and Directive (EU) 2019\/882. They should be designed in such a way that the provisions are implemented as effectively as possible. The specific technical requirements are set out in the statutory instrument pursuant to Section 3 (2) BFSG, in particular on the basis of standard EN 301 549.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The service portal of the DJH Rhineland Regional Association offers teachers the opportunity to access information about their booked school trip and obtain supporting materials in a secure login area. The website is aimed at teachers who have booked school trips to youth hostels in the Rhineland. No offers or products are presented for booking. We are working hard to change this. The above-mentioned websites have not yet been checked by an external testing agency, but have been self-checked for compliance with the requirements. We would first like to convert any non-accessible content that we are aware of. We have already defined new colours and will implement them in the near future to increase the contrast.<\/li>\n<li>Link texts, images, graphics, illustrations and graphical control elements do not always have clear alternative texts.<\/li>\n<li>The programmable heading hierarchy deviates in part from the content structure.<\/li>\n<li>Form fields are not consistently labelled clearly.<\/li>\n<li>Controls are not consistently labelled clearly.<\/li>\n<li>When navigating using the keyboard, the focus is not always clear. In some places, the keyboard focus does not follow the logical order and sometimes remains in the background when overlapping elements such as modals are opened. We are in the process of implementing the correct behaviour.<\/li>\n<li>Incomplete entries in input fields lack individual and clearly traceable error handling.<\/li>\n<li>Not all documents (PDF, Word, Excel and others) are accessible.<\/li>\n<li>Abbreviations and unclear terms are not explained sufficiently.<\/li>\n<li>The videos used do not have subtitles.<\/li>\n<li>Machine readability through assistive technologies: Not all (operating) elements are readable by assistive technologies (such as screen readers). We are currently reviewing this content and making technical adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Some areas can no longer be operated using the keyboard. We are in the process of making technical adjustments to these areas to ensure keyboard operability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Barriers due to unreasonable economic viability:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some barriers on our websites cannot be removed at short notice for reasons of economic feasibility, as they require considerable financial and\/or human resources. We continuously review our websites for possible improvements, but for personnel reasons we cannot remove all barriers immediately. This applies, for example, to older content that was created before the current accessibility guidelines came into force. Retrofitting this content would involve disproportionately high costs. We will adapt this content as soon as possible and once all other barriers have been removed.
