Creepy alarm in Panarbora

Reading a thrilling book, watching a horror film or taking a ride on a ghost train - many people love to feel scary. No wonder: when we find ourselves in a „dangerous“ situation, the body releases adrenaline and noradrenaline. But if we actually know that nothing can happen to us, a wave of relief and relaxation runs through our body. Happiness hormones are released. Marvellous!

Halloween is just around the corner

It's no wonder that the festival is becoming increasingly popular in Germany. It's that time again on 31 October! First, children go from door to door and it's trick or treat. Later in the evening, bars, clubs and discos invite people to their Halloween parties. All too soon the fun is over again. Not so at the Waldbröl Youth Hostel's „Panarbora“ ghost park„

The Panarbora Ghost Park
The „Panarbora“ ghost park opens its doors from 30 September to 5 November. A beautifully designed and illuminated park awaits you every day from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm, with lots to experience. In addition to the „creepy-creepy guided tour“ of the treetop walk (EUR 5.00 per person, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5.00 pm, group tours possible at any time), you can go on a ghost hunt in the park (EUR 1.50 per person): Whoever finds the eight special ghosts that have mingled with the others will receive a certificate at the end. Who of you dares?

If you don't want to miss out on this fun, you also have the option of staying overnight at the Waldbröl Panarbora youth hostel. So you can enjoy the autumnal nature, let your gaze wander over the Bergisches Land in daylight and later go on a spooky discovery tour through the ghost park.
